“Art teaches nothing, except the significance of life”, Henry Miller.
Themed “Art and Education” this year, the M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2012 promises a variety of ticketed and free performances from interactive events, artistic exchanges, music, visual arts and mixed media activities created and presented by Singapore and international artists.
The annual Festival aims to bring the best of contemporary, cutting-edge and socially engaged works to the local audience across several venues: The Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, the National Museum of Singapore, The Substation, the Singapore Art Museum, The Arts House and ION Orchard.
Set to be a creative-centre, with a twin-purpose of innovation and discussion; the M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2012 is a platform for meaningful and provocative art to engage our increasingly connected and complex world.
