This is with regards YORK LIVE which is a two day-long celebration of wine, music, food at York's very own winery overlooking their vineyards with the beautiful shimmering lake and hills in the near distance; the venue itself is worth the trip. In the wine capital of India - Nasik, YORK LIVE unravels a new definition for sheer bliss, with an exciting fiesta to give you an experience that you will not forget. This celebration for your senses will encompass a variety of boutique wines, astounding performances by leading bands and a la carte menu to boast of. In an attempt to promote wine culture in India, York Winery, an established name in the field of wines brings its first annual celebration of wine, music & food along with an array of fun filled activities to leave you asking for more.

About York Winery
York Winery, a family run company, was formed in 2005. It is located in Nasik, which is the premium grape growing region of India. The planning and design of the winery started in 2006 leading up to the first vintage in 2008. The winery is located in the Gangapur area of Nasik. The estate is of 9 an acre of which 6 acres is a vineyard with Shiraz & Cabernet Sauvignon being the first varieties planted in 2005. There is also a Tasting Room at the winery which is open throughout the week for visitors. In 2009, York Reserve Shiraz won the Gold Medal at The Sommelier India Wine Competition followed by a Bronze Medal for the York Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon The Sommelier India Wine Competition and Commended at The International Wine Challenge 2010, London.
